I’m not sure on the 21 model sorry. They changed the clusters in 2020.

I have 2019 defender. Where is the over ride switch?

Also did it on my first try. After I cleared some cinder pebbles out of my over ride switch! 😂 shows how many times I’ve used that switch. Thanks for the vid.

Works on 2017 X3 Turbo R Took a few times , wasn’t clear on when to let off the brakes. But it finally cleared it after 4-5 try’s

This does not work on the new 2021. In the newer x3's it is under the settings on the menu button

The manual didn’t work for me. I read all about the light switch while holding the S button blah blah blah. Never worked. I also have a 2018 x3 xrs turbo. Not sure why that would matter but this didn’t trick first try.
