write a logic in the servlet that checks whether the passwordsmatch, if they don't use the Dispatcher to forward the user to the EnterOtp.jsp page. however, before sending the user to that page set an attribute with the status for passwords not matching. Then in the Enter Otp.jsp write a hidden input that gets the status value. Then in the same page down below write js code that gets the value from the hidden input and checks what the values is and subsequently using sweet alert displays the significant error page

why you use service method in ValidateOtp.java servlet, can't we use post method??

Yes you can use Post method also .just make sure "method" attribute value should also be POST in the form tag .Service method can handles both type of request (Post and Get)
