Hello, your channel has been such a help for me with my series 5. Thanks for all you do. I have a question on this though. Does the service miles need to be - - - - -. Mine was serviced today, says 2200 miles and 6 months to next service. Tried your steps here and I can get the spanner to flash but that’s it. Wondered if it isn’t working cos I still have (in theory) 2200 miles to go until service required. Does that make sense? I would have thought I could have reset it though…?

Thanks for your support….. I did forget to mention on that post, sometimes depending on settings they can play up while trying to reset, and you need to use diagnostics equipment

WOW as easy as that and it resets to the right mileage, need to save this video and show to my mechanic. As for the last 2 services he has done and using his computer thing, has followed instructions and tried to reset it 3 times doing something different each time ie open door, drop passenger window just to name a few. Cheers for that.

Well at first I tried to reset Service light on the Autel while I was resetting the SQL, but it was such a chew on, till I realised you can reset it the old fashioned way lol. But I did see the option to switch the reminder off while I was in there

I don’t think they have TPMS on the series 5…. I could be wrong. Unless you have an early Series 6

There are 3 or 4 different settings programmed at PDI, sometime it works other times it don’t. You will been diagnostics on it to reset otherwise

Help lol 67 plate - it doesnt work just flashes then the spanner stays on millge says 41400 howndo i clear it make it say 12500 l200 66 plate - barbarian.

Yes unfortunately some of the earlier S5 are a pain, you will require diagnostics

@steven7861 yes what I do with these is switch them off via diagnostics. Are you local to NE ? I much prefer the older stuff…. Have a look on my channel / facebook page. Sold my 19 L200 during Covid when prices went mad, I do miss it in some ways…. But in others I don’t lol
