How to reset the oil life light on a 2013 cadillac

Thank You, Thank You, Thank You. I have been trying to clear this message for a long time on our 2013 SRX with no success. The vital step (missing in the manual and elsewhere online) is to Press and HOLD the Start button until all electronics are activated. Without the HOLD step, the reset will never, ever work. Thank You.

Thank you Sir. I tried several times the SEL button, but it didn't work, but for the ignition and acceleration technique, I was just pushing the Start button ( not pushing & holding it), but now I learned it from you Sir. Wish you very good health Sir.

Hey Jim I have 2013 Caddliac srx my in dash screen (audio , phone , nav , settings , weather , pandora , climate , onstar) is no longer functioning. I have tried the web site factory reset and it still isn't functiong . The car has 80k on it . I just cant believe it would go out all ready. Any other ideas ?

Jeff Bazell Derby x2 (?) marks and x2 (35) [All cattycorner from each other]. And every time I put the car in park the center cluster screen displays a notification every fkn time about faulty tire pressure. Let me tell you it's all 4 set to 35psi... 1000%

So this is just a mileage reset thing? It's not the car actually monitoring the condition of the oil?

Yes it does not monitor the oil condition it just monitors the milage and comes on at a preset milage.
