Thanks for the video. I would advice to go and delete the media before the reset. The media as files actually stay in the upload folder but you just dont see them since they are not registered in the db. Thay take space and you will backup them with every backup. That is the actual difference between the free plan and the top plan

Great tip! That is a pretty important difference in plans.

Do we need to remove pages in hosting as well?

Not unless you have HTML or PHP pages that you created outside of the WordPress dashboard. I hope that helps :) Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for watching! And sorry for the delay. I'm still trying figure out my summer holiday work schedule!

Plugin is not showing up for me
@Simulacra0017 ай бұрын
Why use a plugin for this (especially a paid for plugin), when you can spin up either a new local site/open a previously created blueprint in less than a minute. I get that there is a plug in for everything these days but this is not needed.

Very good point.

Careful on a cheap shared hosting, this plug in is very hungry of resources.

Thanks for looking out! Luckily, you wouldn't have this plugin running longterm on any website. Normally you would only be using this plugin on development sites and only using it after the project has been completed.

@@wplearninglab I have WP Reset installed on many of my production sites and make regular manual Snapshots, but it also makes automatic Snapshots when I update plugins or themes. Why wouldn't you keep WP Reset active to make regular Snapshots? I'm trying to understand the logic.
