Have had mine for about 2 years no problems. One morning couldn't open it so had to use the override keys. Still can't reset it. When I reset, close and lock and press the key symbol there is no beep. However when I put the code in after locking it and press the key symbol again it does a myriad of beeps but doesn't unlock. Guess I'll have to just use the override keys from now on!

Replaced the batteries and the safe beeps three times and pushing the red button does nothing. Tried repeating the battery replacement and it always beeps 3 times. Light is green on the key pad but the only active keys on the safe are 0, 8 and 2. Pushing any one of them gives you 2 beeps. Safe is only 2 years old. Me thinks its f@@ked.

Great Question. I forgot that in the tutorial. The yellow YALE button near the keypad snaps off to reveal the master key slot.

Under the Yale logo on the front of the safe is a lock for the master key that came with the safe. The master key will open it regardless of the code without the master key you are probably out of luck.
