Hi Jason, very interesting video again mate the Range Rover looks like new again just like you were never there which is how it should be unlike the last person that made a right mess of it🙄🤭 I might have mentioned this before but if you look at the 1.3CC tip then compare it with the 1.2i (or O) tip you should see that the 1.3CC is smaller than the 1.2i🤔someone I know has the tools to measure an internal diameter and he told me the 1.3CC is actually 1.15mm🤷♂I've been experimenting using the 1.2i and the 1.3i tip (I don't have the O tip but both tips are the same it's the aircap that changes the fan pattern) with the CC aircap and it speeds the gun up but it still produces the same CC finish, maybe it's something that would help you Jason👍

Nice job! I recently used the 4+1 as a WoW after always using the F37 WoW and I found the 4+1 WoW actually lays flatter than the F37. It's now my go to.
@TheHumblePaintSprayer333Ай бұрын
Many thanks, yes I use it often as WoW but I do prefer F37 for new panels it’s has better adhesion properties and anti corrosion for new panels, it will bond to factory e coat without sanding but it does take a lot longer to dry and needs to be applied really wet to be smooth Do you use the VR thinner in the 4+1 WoW
@aksmartrepairsltdАй бұрын
@@TheHumblePaintSprayer333 Yeah, the VR thinner is brilliant. I still use the F37 when required although I do still key up new e-coat just for my own peace of mind. My only annoyance with F37 is the lack of spectral grey shades. I would prefer they made it in just black and white so you can then make your grey shades.

Excellent finish. That must have been the range Rover I painted last year. Thank you for fixing my bad paint job 😉 very nice work my man. I watched part 1 yesterday. If you think that CC gun is slow. Try the DV1 you will fall asleep while painting. 🤝♥️

It was ok like i said in the video i didn't get the finish i wanted on this one, it was a bit light for my liking, we like a lot of clear on them don't we 😄 Man that wasn't your standard of work dont be silly 😂 you paint what your asked paint and you do it right and consistently high standard, i can see your very efficient and fast and you must be a real asset to your boss ive worked at many places where other parts of the job might not be repaired very well or not been stripped and id just paint it to my best ability thats all you can do , wasn't my department Its different for me here as I'm being paid for the job Thanks Man 👍

@@TheHumblePaintSprayer333 man every time I try to leave my job the boss tells me NO YOU CANT LEAVE, and gives me more money. Right now there is not a shop in the county that can pay me more than what my boss pays me. He is wealthy and he just doesn't want to retire and stay home with his wife, he's 70 and just loves to be in the shop. I have offers to work at so many high end shops here locally. But he pays me too good to leave. And I work 8-4 no weekends. Love it 🤎 but I know what you mean you're your own boss so you have no choice but to give 100%

Hi bud nice work, have you tried cx11 its so thin it's like water....I ended up sacking a full pack off, the worst mipa ever..... but Cx4 I love that. I dropped using thinners in my clear a few years ago, better gloss less runs, just nib and trizact my clears if a little too peely.
@TheHumblePaintSprayer333Ай бұрын
Thank you, no haven’t used CX11 I’m trying a new clear tomorrow on a job CC14 Thix, I like cx4 it’s good apart from the small polishing window, I use cx2 instead now it’s good for the price fast cure like the cx4 and very good gloss Clears without thinners are better one less thing to influence your end result

Hi Jay what basecoat blender do you recommend for using with octoral eco? I’ve got an old E36 in titan silver coming up which seems to be a different shade on each panel 😅 thanks! Great job on this by the way!
@TheHumblePaintSprayer333Ай бұрын
it uses the transparent base coat tinter thats used for the 3 stage tricoat and pearl coats it also gives you the option when you mix the colour to add it to the mix if your blending it, i can't remember the tinter number, put 1 coat on then dry it before base coating

What exactly is wet on wet primer a opposed to ordinary primer?.
@TheHumblePaintSprayer333Ай бұрын
Its just 1 thin coat of primer opposed to a build up of primer layers that paint can be sprayed directly on top of without the need to sand, its just a sealing or barrier coat
