What do you do when you get to the very last stitch? How do you finish it off and secure the stitches.
@mjo23dan6 ай бұрын
@@lorenzocano6309 you just pull the last thread through and cut the excess. Nike likes to tape the ends of the thread onto the strobel board but you can just put them to the side and put the insole on top

I made soleswap on my 3s but when You reglue your shoes it's looks really different than on Your video. You must to prepare for twisted stitching inside the shoes and after You pull out the thread to outside needle can be on wrong side, not right side like You wish. Anyway i appreciate Your videos like always ✌️

If you’re looking at older videos on my restoration playlist it definitely needs an update. The methods used were that from probably 4-5 years ago when I first started on KZbin. Stuff is more fine tuned by now as far as methods and thread but this particular video isn’t far off on how to correctly restitch sneakers.

Not sure how you do this with the top over the sole. Seems you would need a hook awl to facilitate the blind stitch.

You need to mark where you began. That’s when you’ll know where the end is and then you just cut the thread and place them inside the shoe

So I'm guessing you're just doing a simulated stitch then. The Jordan iii actually secures the elephant print to the shoe with each stitch. It will be hard but I think it's worth doing right so the shoe has the proper strength.

@j.of.clarke56919 сағат бұрын
This sole stitch method is easy to do when the shoe isn’t in the way. Damn near impossible to do around the front of the shoe due to limited access for your hand to reach the needle tip. Not possible to see what you are doing and I usually get poked in the finger tips feeling for the thread. That’s when the pain really begins…along with the bleeding.

Ahmad Al-Syoof this is the only video I have explaining how the stitching works in a shoe. Should be universal so you know exactly how to restitch. The thread to use is explained in the video otherwise you can grab some thread at a store like Michael’s or Hobby Lobby and get some wax. They sell it all there.
