How to Restore Your iPhone if You Forgot Your Passcode

You can use recovery mode to restore your iPhone or iPad if you've forgotten your passcode.
To access the recovery mode, you need a computer and a cable to connect your iPhone to the computer. If you don't have a computer, you'll need to borrow one.
It must be turned off, though, before you may connect it. Holding the side button will allow you to connect the device.
Using iTunes or the Finder window on your computer, you can restore your iPhone.
Everything will be erased as a result, however, you can restore everything using a backup.
You cannot restore the deleted data if you don't have a PC backup or an iCloud backup.

God bless you, thank God i Found you at the time i did because my son locked his iphone and I'm not a iphone user because o don't like it with something like this happening it's convinced me why i don't like it in ghe first place. I would use the iCloud backup, but the issue I face is having items in the backup that I don’t want reloaded. I can’t work out how to totally clear unwanted content from the Apple iCloud storage area. Would be great if you could explain how to do that (i.e. completely remove content) or point me to a past clip where you do explain it. Thnx.

this is an entirely different issue. you have two options here, you can either buy a new charging port and replace it yourself or take it to a professional to do the same thing.
