Luthiers like to interlock the strings, for the purpose of quick, permanent no-slip of their instruments for sale. For performers, however, this is simply not the best method. For single string replacement, of to perform replacement of solely the treble strings, installation of the strings individually is more appropriate.. Hands down.

Why does the E, A, D low strings in a classical guitar string looks like a metal? Or is there something i dont know? Can someone clarify that part for me thanks!

The EAD strings are nylon strings covered in a metal sheath. "Nylon core" they're called. If you cut one, you'll see the clear nylon strands coming from the inside.

Truthfully you tuck the end of the string back thru the hole and cut off the excess.
