Hey Josh, gven ETH's high gas fees and the oncoming release of Cardano (erc20 converter) and recent run-up with Binance Chain, do you foresee an exodus for ethereum and would you take profits and swap ETH to ADA and BNB to hedge against ETH not being able to fully deliver scalability until 2022? @@8675309td I’m a native. Depends on where you buy or rent a house. Even if you pay 1000 for a rent (which is a lot outside Lisbon), you are still pretty much a fat cat.

@@shoelessjoe428 I understand. But trust me when i say that if you are retired with $4000 (roughly 3350 euro) per month in Portugal you are doing much much better than the overall population. If you retire a bit outside of Lisbon (say 30-40km away) you could buy a house and pay a ridiculously low mortgage to the bank (let's say conservatively you pay 700 euro, which already gets you a pretty good house). That leaves you with 2650. TV, electricity, phone and internet will set you back max 100 euro. Food for a single person for a whole month should not be above 300 euro. You still have 2250 if my math is right. Most people live with under 1500 per month. I would say you won't starve :)

It's from those who understand technology. Ethereum was already maxed out with just Cryptokitties and now again. Bianance Smart Chain already has 2x as many transactions as Ethereum and other new kids on the block are eating Ethereum's lunch as well. @@Crs237 The last time I added on to my ETH was when it was at 1720ish 1840ish. Before that I purchased like all my ETH when it was 760 and 1000. You can make the mistake of purchasing when everyone is very excited about it and get scared if the price goes down which it naturally will. If you plan to purchase some and hold it for at least a year with your reasoning being that you think it will go eventually over the all time high it is now then it would be fine to buy some now. You can also just test the waters and put in a little amount of money and analyze the price charts and make decisions on when you would like to increase your ETH portfolio. It is generally best to buy it after it takes a dip in price of fair significance like 10%. Look at the price of BTC and ETH over the last week. There was one day when almost every single crypto currency went down 20%. This would be a moment to purchase if you intend on holding the asset. Good luck to you. You should do lots of research and make informed decisions.

Great video...my wife is Filipina...been there countless times. My advice to anyone wanting to retire in a poor country: Do not expect to live like an American anywhere in the world for cheap. You can not live like an American anywhere on this planet for $2,000 a month. The reason it is cheaper in cheaper places is because you lower your lifestyle down. If nobody has a lexus...you do not desire a lexus...and therefore do not have the need for a lexus payment. If you want to live in a nice 2500 square foot house like you do now....expect to pay a high price. Nice houses cost a lot of money even in poor countries.

I read this article a while back, that said Microsoft employs more millionaire secretaries than any other company in the world. They took stock options over Christmas bonuses. It was a good move. I didn't want to be an innovator any more, I just wanted to make the quick and easy buck, I just wanted in. The Notorious BIG said it best: "Either you're slingin' crack-rock, or you've got a wicked jump-shot." Nobody wants to work for it anymore. There's no honor in taking that after school job at Mickey Dee's. Honor's in the dollar, kid. So I went the white boy way of slinging crack-rock: I became a stock broker.

I was going through your video, as I already have some and interested on purchasing some more ETH for my retirement (HODL for a long time I hope) and notice that you have an estimate on ETH's supply by year 2030. Is that based on POW only or you also considered based on POS as well, that ETH is or it will become deflationary soon (if deflationary, shouldn't the price be higher by 2030). Thank you in advance.
