Great video as always. I'm also installing the Woodland Scenics "Just Plug" system around my layout. It's a fantastic system. The cars and street lights add nice realism to a layout. Dave

Mike, I know your extremely busy but if you get time have a quick look at the Woodland Scenics "Just Plug" police car video's on my channel. One in particular is a Classic Metal Works 59 Fairlane Police Car that i swapped all the lights from the Woodland Scenics 50 Ford Police Car. but the principle could be applied to other vehicles. Dave

Thanks, Mike. I had quite a few lights 2 layouts ago when it all had to be done the old fashioned way--grain of rice bulbs, reisitors, etc. It was such a pain that I have never gotten around to doing any lighting again, but I think I will do some on my new layout and the Just Plug system will probably be just how I do it.

Thanks for sharing Mike! This is a great how to and will help me out a lot. I changed my name, i was Lucas Tome but the same person. I really think this is helpful and it's inexpensive. Thanks, Lucas

Thanks for the info, Mike. I've purchased 2mm LED lights for the exterior walls of my distribution center, plus strip LEDs to go over the truck doors. Plan on purchasing light poles for other areas and wondered how many more I can connect together over the three lights Scenics states for one plug.

Thanks for posting this. I recently installed this system. I’m having problem getting the ends of the pole light wire twisted together and into the plug. How to you strip these wires? My fingernails do not seem to be doing it.
@N-Scale3 жыл бұрын
Heat the ends with a cigarette lighter or soldering iron. It is an enamel coating. Mike

Thanks Mike, they look great. Try turning your room light s down to what looks good in the camera, I'm not sure how it works on digital camera, but with film you have to balance the light using a light meter, a little harder because you have to try very hard to get the right readings, but with digital you should be able to see it in the camera as you turn the room light down, thanks again for another good tip for our layouts...

Mike - have you considered adding some Just Plug autos to that street? It would increase the lighting and be easier than retrofitting the structures. Just a thought; it's YOUR railroad.

Great tip on pre made buildings helps a lot , notice on building your figures they look great do you know what brand they are and what brand do you prefer. ( might make a good video tip) I have tried those from china , Japan and a few others, just don't look right. Keep up the great work

Looks like you have an interference fit between the fire escape and the wall lamp; hopefully the OSHA guy won't notice.
@losharrison6532 жыл бұрын
You can run up to 8 light per plug slot

1000mA of LED's per power pack. Just add them up. And that is per Woodland Scenics.
