Make sure you set it to “aux” in the original mb system, not bluetooth or etc

the harness connects to the box and the other side connects to the original benz harness, then the small box u can hide in the back of the glovebox

Yes you can definitely mirror your iphone or android on the screen, and also you can buy an aftermarket rear view camera unit and hook it up to this unit, there’s a few wires labelled for it specifically

Hey martin, basically it uses the OEM mercedes bluetooth to pickup calls, and yes i would reccomend you attach the mic, also the carplay will bring up an option for you to accept or decline the call

I also have this problem. My car is 2012 C300. Troubleshooting from manual says it could be that I didn't move the fiber optic cable, but I did. The head unit can play music (like from CD) but carplay has no sound. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

It’s because i wanted to retain the OEM look of the car. Otherwise if you don’t care then get the 12 inch screen. I believe it’s touchscreen aswell

Double check everything - make sure you hooked up the harness properly. Make sure phone is also connected to original mb bluetooth interface + through the new interface
