I'd say that's a pretty good overview, but you might try to have a neurosurgron go through it with you some time. There are a few things that aren't quite right. For example, the fixation devices you have are Gardner-Wells tongs, not Mayfield clamps. Bayoneted instruments should be held/passed with the tips up (opposite how you were holding it). The large rongeur is a Leksell, named after Lars Leksell. As a blunt dissector, the Penfield 4 (named after Wilder Penfield) generally isn't used for removing osteophytes. I know this is all nit picking, but your students will soon learn that neurosurgeons often have picky/OCD tendencies. I am one, and I do.

Cool Ive never seen where the name of instuments comes in w the tray. Iam a retired surgical tech, wish we had this back in the day. Lol. I always tried to stay out of neurosurgeries and Ortho. Was always more for the male techs. Lol
