Love this! I use a large enough key ring and slip it over the top branch and attach six ribbons around it. You can move the ribbon around to find the ideal spot for spacing.

I have never been able to do ribbon and have it look nice. I did end up buying spiral ribbon from micheals. Great tips I never thought to do the wire to hold it. I will use that on my tree to keep the top in place. Thanks for sharing.

Here is a tip if you do not want to buy wire, you can use the ties from your bread or the trash bags wires that come with them to use for positioning your ribbon. Tip for the day.

If you’ve bought new lights they sometimes have the wires around the bundles too!

Or just use the branches as she said. Its so much easier. Just tuck and twist. Tuck the ribbon and twist the brach around it.

Great description…you can also dove tail the end of your ribbon with a quick and easy v-cut so you don’t have to tuck under at the bottom of tree. I’ll be watching more! Thanks!

Thanks for your tutorial! I have been wondering how to do this, and already had bought the ribbon. I'm thinking I can use the green wires that come with ornaments to blend into the tree. Yay! Christmas twinsies lol. I dint know why DT hasn’t really jumped onto the Buffalo Plaid trend too much yet. But you could probably find a nice white or red. I used jumbo ribbon and I’ve linked in my description a similar one to what I bought from Michaels that I found on amazon. I still have a lot left over so tomorrow I’m putting up a trash to Treasure DIY with more of the ribbon ... if it turns out lol
