Yamaha R3 is the perfect choice for a new rider. I've ridden one a couple of times while my bike (MT-10) has been in for a service and I absolutely love it, it's so easy to ride.

Thanks. I had an accident and this really helped. Place that i live in doesn't have practice grounds, so that's a bummer.

Those are pine cones..and yes, they hurt like hell. I grew up stepping on far too many of those little monsters in my childhood. I can still feel it now!

Could you explain the accident? Who was at fault ?
@max821724 жыл бұрын
Insurance ruled the other driver 100% at fault in both accidents. That said, there are always things we can do to mitigate risk when riding. I had all black gear at the time and both accidents happened in shaded areas, making myself potentially less visible. In one, I had a tinted visor and the sun was going down so I wanted to get home before it got dark. Both accidents were low speed fortunately, so nothing major, but I still have neck/back/shoulder pain 5 months later. Made the decision to buy white gear and a transitions-style visor to make myself more visible and hopefully safer in the future.

@@max82172 How are you holding up now, two years after this video?

I would have your buddy take the msf course a couple of times again. You shouldn't be thinking about bike control inputs while riding, should be automatic. All your thinking should be dedicated to road and traffic conditions.
