How To Ride A VROD (For Beginners)

Learn how to ride a motorcycle. Basic Introduction for Beginner's wanting to learn how to ride a motorcycle. Please Note: Learning on a VROD is not advised!
They say dress for the slide not for the ride. Although I agree to disagree.. theirs plenty of fail videos out there that will prove this.
When you are new, Ride at your own risk, take it easy & be prepared to fall.
Wear the appropriate gear to protect you if in the event you fall off a motorcycle.
Invest in your gear! Invest in your knowledge! Most of all... Get out there and practice!

On Harley......you must remember all by yourself to put up sidestand, other brands will die if you shift into gear without putting it up and other brands have both left and right signal on left handlebar........you can tell Harley rider on rice burner because left turns he hits the horn,right turns he hits the starter Most Harley redline 5.5 - 6.5k, shifting at 3k is reasonable for mild acceleration....... you're on a V-Rod, redline 9k, 4 - 5k shift for mild acceleration.....ride it more like a crotch rocket........if you want to accelerate on that thing shift just before 8500 keeping it above 7000(where it really takes off)

The key thing is maintenance history - Depending on your budget and whats available in the market anything above 50k kms I would want to see proof of service history :)
