We did the run for flight of passage never again go last thing at night the line is less .if you get a seat at the end of the ride look out across the ride you can see all the other rides on the other shows it’s amazing

Not needed, just go to the park, and refresh your app for 10-15mins, you’ll lock in a fast pass for some point during the day for FOP.

This is true but the queue during the day was up to three hours (sometimes four) . This way we got on first and then straight on navi journey which also usually has very long wait times. Had it not started raining bad we would have got straight on the safari then everest and left the park still in the morning and had the rest of the day free

Andrew the difference being its better to wait before the park opens over in the middle of the day where you will miss out on time to do other attractions

Yes. This is the better approach because you’re not wasting time while the park is open. And It’s all about the fast passes. This strategy, albeit extreme, makes perfect sense to the Disney addicts among us👍

Yep that's the way to do the major rides. Granted I do this all the time at Dca for Radiator Spring Racers in Carsland. Going to Wdw for the first time in August so I'll be doing this for the Seven Dwarfs mine train.

I would go to Space Mountain or Thunder Mountain, Seven Dwarfs was not as good as those two, plus it may be easier to fastpass Seven Dwarfs

We went to AK on 4/9/18 arrived at park 9:45 went straight to Avatar it was a 60 minute wait, then at about 7 in the evening we went back again it said 45 minutes but we were done in 40 minutes. we couldn't get fast passes but managed to ride it twice one day, awesome ride!!!

We did rope drop at AK and got to ride FoP twice that morning. They said the second wait was going to be an hour but it was really only about half an hour.

Little tip, during rain is actually a good time to ride the safari ride because the animals love the rain you will get to see more animals.

I just love this video, and I love re-watching it. Reminds me of when my wife and I did our Rope Drop in December of 2017. Did the Rope Drop twice that trip and got on both times. It is my favourite ride at Disney in my favourite park. This is the video that introduced me to you guys and I've been hooked ever since. For all those fans of Flight of Passage that don't know, Spotify has a Disney play list of Pandora: The World of Avatar, that has the audio track to Flight of Passage. Just listening to it puts me right back on the ride. Keep up the great work guys!

me and my bro did the same but did do hotel magic hr and woke up at 5:30am and got to the park by 6:15 and they left us in at 6:45, 15 mins early and we only waited like 30/45 mins as well. we did the whole park by 12! we went back to our hotel to eat and rest and came back at 4 and closed the park out. crazy but super fun day!

Yup - this is absolutely the strategy - we didn't run to the front but we did show up early and got in almost a full 45 minutes earlier than actual opening, rode both rides, and bam - done. We show that in our last week’s video - and we hope to do the same for Galaxy's Edge. HOWEVER, you have to balance it out waiting 2 hours before the park opens or sitting 2 hours in the line, how much did you save. For both of us, it worked - for Galaxy's Edge, I don't think we will be so lucky.
