The micro power pole is a MUST! I have one on my Wilderness Systems Recon 120 and I don't leave the house without it on. I fish mostly only swift water Creeks and rivers and I can fish creek bends and sit perfectly still while fishing log jams no problem with it...it's a game changer. People come flying by me with the current down stream in their kayaks, canoes, and tubes and always ask me how the hell I'm sittin still in this swift water. I'd call that kayak if it was mine: "The Yacht". Also, I'm extremely jealous you have that kayak. I went on road trips...no exaggeration, to try and get my hands on one. Stayed on hold over the phone with every single basspro in the United States seeing if they had one available, and so forth. No joke. Ended up giving up after I took extreme measures to try and get one and finally just bought the brand new (at the time) Wilderness Systems Recon 120 and I haven't looked back yet

This was my first fishing kayak. Thing is a beast, it’s still my backup. built it ground up. Dual screens, livescope, trolling motor, three 60AH lithium ion batteries, power pole. I fish a lot of tournaments, boat and kayak, so I upgraded to a Native Titan, which is rigged up similarly except dual Hummingbird instead of Garmin. It’s nice having a spare for friends to come fishing, especially my best friend when he’s home.

Those are awesome kayaks . I just received the Bass Pro Shops 2022 master catalog and they are selling that kayak as a package deal that includes a Motor Guide XI 13 and many other accessories. These Ascends will be a huge seller , the potential for rigging and outfitting to an anglers personal needs are endless . Hey Edwin. Man I follow you as much as I can. Buddy that is not a kayak really. That's more like a boat. Man if the day comes that you ever have to paddle that thing you might have rethought your decision. Anyhow the battery you mentioned. Is that a lithium. Of course as big as that thing is you could probly put a golf cart battery in it. I've found that Dekota is had to beat. By no means please don't think I am hitting you with alot of criticism. Your my hero man. I hang on every thing that you post. Others might be ranked in the points but your way ahead in my book.

Hey brother Awesome Kayak I got one myself, did couple of upgrades and one of them was the mat, it makes it more comfortable, perhaps you might like that mod. also inside the kayak some pvc that takes up space and replace the plates for the access they don't work too well.

Welcome to the kayak fishing world. One thing I would suggest is to wire in a kill switch. If you hit a stump you could end up in the water and your yak would keep cruising. Also would upgrade to Lithium battery to save on weight. Looking forward to seeing more kayak videos. JD
