A good example of these kinds of games is definitely "Roll." It's an awesome game! It's a dice game where you have 10.000 rolls to make as many points as possible. You can buy new dice, but more importantly, you can buy new dice faces that add modifiers. It's one of those that you could gain billions upon billions of points if done right

balatro definitely showed that regular card games can be turned in to roguelike, for example now someone even made a blackjack roguelike but i think this is just scratching the surface not only there are tons of possible card games where people could do the same but I actually think we could go deeper and try and do the same for some popular board games of course something like for example a scrabble inspired roguelike I think already exist, but for example what about a rogulike version of "Guess who?" I think a game like that would be pretty easy to turn into a roguelike compared to maybe bigger games like monopoly (that I don't think could be turned into a roguelike easily)

I'd like to see other classic boardgame mechanics smash the roguelike scene like deckbuilding did, perhaps worker placement, action following, drafting, or even auctions?

Peglin is based more off Peggle which I think is inspired by Pachinko machines. Good video overall!
