My goblin hunter is classed as a marksman(really a ranged-spec Fighter), but has a background of scouting. His closeness to nature is trivial but as practical as necessary for wilderness survival, such as what John J. Keeshan knows and does. But he has an engineering trade too. Mechanical pets are available at his disposal as now in Legion both goblin and gnome hunters get to tame mech pets by default.

Your description of Beast Master PERFECTLY fits my BM hunter Sharian. He, like Rexxar, wears an animal pelt as a mask and is neutral in the Alliance/Horde fight, and his HUNTING PARTNER (not pet!) is one of his best friends. He also has elements of Tracker, Scout and especially Survivalist, but he is mostly Beast Master. I used to have him as Marksman, but I realized around Legion that Beastmaster was just so much more fitting. I am guilty of leaving my poor nightsaber Hakan outside bars, but only when it's requested. I love to RP my various pets' abilities, and my birds deliver my mail!

Another great video, I really like how you went into the different hunter archetypes. Hunters can be really fun for Roleplay because of their diversity and even being able to RP two characters at once. I want to RP another hunter since Jaddak's story is long over and this helped with figuring out my new character. I like how you tamed a Pandarian Tiger and based on the name I assume you RP it as a Nightsaber?

I'm wondering,would certain people treat their animals like actual pet. For example if your Wolf helps you hunt and finds you something good,would it be Lore Friendly for the character to for example give their wolf a steak or give their bear a trout. Just in general talk to it like someone would a house pet.

My Hunter is a night elf, abandoned as a child by his parents as he could not aim a bow to save his life, he sailed to eastern kingdoms and he found himself inbetween a pack of wolves and as a naked defenceless child it would of all been over but all of a sudden a basilisk came out and killed most the wolves, it felt pity for me and through a scar the night elf could guess it just lost a fight. The night elf named him Vice and they set out together, the night elf learnt to swing a heavy sword And they began there adventures

Technically, yes. But they would no longer be a Mage. Becoming a DK overwrites whatever you were before.

Inquisitor Aura Well Arthas made them DK. And since he died I don't think it's possible anymore. So if your Mage dies she/he will stay dead unless she/he is resurrected by a Paladin or a Priest. If it's possible that way

Honestly, I really don't know. I suppose you could make an argument (especially with Spirit Bond) that your pet can live as long as you do. I mean- you can resurrect your pet, so...

I'm EXTREMELY new to RP, but, I have always had a sort of internal RP with my Main. (now on WRA) She is a Troll Hunter. I like to really go with the BeastMaster/Survivalist combo. Having a connection with Nature, she originally was to be a Druid. However this never came to be and she grew fond of the Loa Gonk. With her raptor companions by her side, she often stalks the Wilds, feeling an unspoken kinship with Druids, and a slight distaste of the Nesengwary bunch. (She feels they are more on the Poacher side, with little to no respect for the beasts they slay). I just felt the need to share her. She was my first toon, and is my fir WOW love.

It's funny, my main who is also a troll hunter has an opposite story to yours, as he grew up with a copy of nesingwary's book, and idolized him. My main is more of a combination beast mastery/tracker type

I run a sniper forsaken , after taking a job to cover a rogue breaking inmates out of the stockades for the defias brotherhood , the job goes south quickly and after interrogations the rogue gives me up , some high end defias members get captured and the defias brotherhood decided to liquidate me and my family for the failed job , my son was hanged , my wife was tortured and kill in front of me and I was dragged into the edge of duskwoods shot and killed . I woke up a year later in tristfall glades , the rogue I worked tells me of what happened to me , hands me a map of westfall with the location of the deadmines and my gun , I promptly kill him and set about my path of revenge in my unlife .

Nice, my Hunter is a vrykul beast master who after encountering the goblins of K3, became fascinated with guns, and set out to learn engineering from a goblin she kept chained up in her house, in exchange for teaching her engineering and the common language, my hunter keeps this goblin from being bear food and eventually lets him go when she can learn no more from him. Later on she develops a wanderlust, and travels about to learn more of engineering, and to find new and interesting things in the wider world.

I liked the video, but please note that the word "archetype" is pronounced with a hard ch, and sounds like "ARK uh type". Other than that detail, this is really helpful to me as I figure out what character to play most during Legion.
