Highly recommend creating a comfort ritual for whatever events seemed to be in your life at the moment if you want you can take a box and collect elements and then when that moment happens you already to go for example a period box could have a hot water bottle some chocolate bars some Advil or aspirin whatever you use some salt chips a playlist a list of videos that you like to watch as you lay in bed, a soft lounge outfit just so that when it hits you are prepared and make it nice as you can. No doubt about it getting your cycle hurts and is a miserable experience but I found with a little deep breathing and being prepared was always better than realizing it the last moment and then you got to go get this and you feel terrible and you just lay there and suffer. Take some time and prepare your comfort rituals ahead of time. Doesn't have to cost a lot of money but think of it as self-care for the future you.

I've watched many 'romanticize my life' kind of video's, but I have to say this might be the best one. Because as beautiful as those video's are of women living in the beautiful countryside in a little cottage making their own food, it's not realistic for most of us. And I'm saying that as someone who lives in the countryside lol. But this video actually feels realistic, like I can actually take things from this video and implement it into my own life. And I can imagine someone who lives a totally different life from me, in the city and a different study and hobbies, can still pull things from this video. What I'm just trying to say is thank you for being here.

Our situations are very different, but I like how non specific your words are. Just very realistic. I’m chronically ill and many days I can’t “jump out of bed and dance to start the day”, I’m glad I can drag myself out of bed to put the kettle on. Most of these videos concentrate heavily on going somewhere and doing things. But if you can’t do those things it all seems extra unfair.

While I love how you are able to romanticize your life using new items and routines, I've been down that road and it hasn't completely worked personally. It would bring short term joy, but something you did that I didn't, is that you were incredibly intentional with your actions and implementing enjoying each thing you had to do. I used to rely on other items to make me happy and it just spiraled, but now I'm going to be more intentional! While you get more items that you implement in being intentional, I am cleaning items I don't use anymore to be intentional! Thank you for bringing this to light!!

I really like that you said that at the end romanticizing doesn't mean I do the things mentioned here or that are popular on the internet but that it means to make my life a bit more mine Do what feels go for me What genuinely feels good and not what everybody says should feel good. I feel like I still can't name an activity like that even though I have many interests like making music, playing the guitar, sports. I think I always put pressure on myself to be really good at everything I pick up. So it's fun at the beginning but eventually becomes torture. I like to make music but I haven't been able to finish a song. I tell myself it's just for me and nobody else, I'll not share with anybody but still I cringe at the lines that I write😂 and that's how I never finish it. Maybe I should find something else? Maybe I should keep giving this another tries? I don't know. The most important thing is enjoying myself. That's what hobbies are there for! Why can't I remember this every single day😂

you know there is a whole era that actually coined the term romanticizing and they were cherished for that and still are to this day. Nothing cringe about it. As Novalis said: The world must be romanticized! This video was very nice, I felt very connected to the way you view things and I'm glad someone out there tries to see this often harsh world in a way that makes one grateful for being able to smell the roses, not dismiss beauty because of some sort of "adult mentality" that makes you abandon all joy cause it feels "childish". Good to see people actually search for this content. There's still hope. You have captured the intentions of the romantic era perfectly in this video!

1. I definitely needed this video. I've been holding back most of my life now, until recently I've realised that I'm a teenager. I'm meant to have fun and explore myself. So why don't I have that black parade winter, own that productive coquette summer, spend autumn going to local gigs. I don't have to be one thing all of the time. 2. The compliments thing is so real. At my first 2 concerts ever, I was complimented on 2 different things and both times they made my night. 3. As a neurodivergent person, I need routine but struggle with keeping up. Knowing these things a year ago would have drastically changed my life for the better. Thanks for making this videoo

Go get a pretty kids toy and play with it or play board games /learn magic tricks/ tressure hunt .. get creative 🪻 6] study Learn something new ,anything [types of trees , names of flowers , langauge .... ] makes you feel a tad bit more productive and good for ur brain . 🪻 7] nature A tree , a park ,grass ,the sky ... we need to commect more with nature and this will help you alot just like it did to me ( it doesnt have to be complicated or grand like visiting a forest . For example I have a fav tree that i check on every morning from my patio Finally I think this vid has alot of great advice and my fav is doing smth creative and fun . That alarm you played near the beginning of the video is my exact ringtone for my iPhone, and I do it precisely because it is so harsh I *cannot* sleep through it at high volume. But uggggh, what a terrible sound it is! ❤

I love all of your videos so much! I love how it’s not toxic positivity too like so many of these types of videos are. Also random question but where are those pointelle pajamas from they’re so cute 💞

The complimenting one made me recoil back into my body. Not because it’s cringey but because for the past 6 months ish I’ve been having that mindset and being like “if I think someone’s outfit is cute why don’t you tell them?” So I started doing that and complimenting their outfits or hair or whatever it is and then them not hearing me and then just staring at me almost like they’re annoyed that I tried stopping them or even just repeating myself and them not hearing me or noticing that I’m trying to say something to them after so many times it ends up leaving me feeling like caca
