great trucks i have had mine for years. i agree with these guys take care them and they will last and perform great. they are stable but not stiff. they are good at high speeds but still have a lot of control and agility. in a lot of applications these are great downhill, salam, and freeriding these are great. my favorite of these was freeriding they maintained a smooth slide instead of bouncing and shaking like other trucks. the support pin reeaaally helps vertical stress and horizontal stress and maintains a solid riding feel that you can tell immediately when riding. 10/10 quality skate product.

For every person I know who loves Ronin trucks, I know two or three riders who will say they hate that pin! THEY...say that pin causes instability in it's own 'special' way. I've never ridden a set, so I won't try to describe it but everyone agrees that the urethane insert bushing in the Rogue hangers(like the stepped Caliber bushings) actually works much better for high speed stability. They say that Ronin pin kinda works but not as effectively as the company implies it does. It's far from being as stable as you would think, given the hefty price tag, even for a precision truck. This is just what I've heard from a LOT of downhill riders. Again, I've never ridden Ronins, I ride Aeras and this is just what I've heard.

There just kinda a pain to get dialed. I’ve had ronins since 2019 and it took me till recently to really utilize them fully. I tried every bushing brand and combo I could, but I like the ronin bushings the most tbh

+Cee Gee they're OG Titanium Ronins Fred made a number of years back. They aren't produced for the public because they're so expensive to make.

Super old ronin prototypes that never made to it production. I believe they were made out of some stronger material (steel?)

+Skate Frame I know right, he set the world record on HIS trucks, not everyone has the nerve to go 80 miles an hour on a skateboard... He basically is one of Ronins major icons.

I heard that you cant rode berings with pre build speed rings on THE casts is thuis true
@muirskate8 жыл бұрын
The axles on cast ronins are a bit shorter than other trucks. I use bearings with built-in speedrings on my cast ronins with no problems, the nuts are just basically flush with the axle. As long as you replace your axle nuts every couple months so the nylon in the axle nuts are fresh, you'll be fine.
