If you delete the side walls that are covered by the roof pieces you can make a second story level for the tiny home residential. The bottom floor won't count as a complete room and thusly it won't count towards the overall liveable area.

You'll need to press Shift+C when you have a roof selected and then you get the 2 points😊

Honestly I just use half gabled roofs as walls on every side lol.

However you'd like to! Just like any other build. The roofs are placed in a way that you are able to see inside :)

So I don't know if this only works for PC but it won't on console (playstation 5) as whenever I go to place the room in the roof, it deletes the roof the moment I confirm it. Even tried it with the half gables after placing my roof down and that didn't work. I just want to make a neat A frame house-

Forget A frames, are you telling me you can rotate roof pieces without placing them first? Does this work on stairs and rooms???

I'm a seasoned simmer and this was actually confusing to follow. Why not just tell someone to make a 3xwhatever room and teach them to roof around it. It's easier to figure out that way in my opinion.
