Hello Dhananjay, I dont know if you would reply to this but I just purchased a redmi 3s and want to root it I have updated it to miui 8 and it has android 6.0.1 I want to root it mainly for lucky patcher purposes and am not interested in custom ROMs is there any easier alternative because the whole process is very time consuming and cumbersome I tried Kingroot app but its not working after 52% it says root failed Any help would would be deeply appreciated Thankyou

i guess i found the solution, jus do the process again(adb reboot bootloader) flash twrp again and then go to recovery mode by pressing vol up and power. Later to be on safer side disable Dm-verity in advanced option found in twrp, it got into bootloop only once and then automatically it booted up normally. Finally i got root access. Hope u get too

When I try to unlock the device using tool it stops at 99%. It says the account is not bound to the device.
