This is the wonderful thing about the new method; You will be able to Boot into both Rooted and Non-Rooted environments in the same mobile device. Non-Rooted OS Boot- Press Power button. It’ll boot you to Normal OS. You’ve got to line up your device sort of a new device. Boot into Rooted OS - Press and Hold Volume Up + Bixby + Power buttons, release all the keys once the Bootloader warning appears. Stock Recovery Boot - Press and Hold Volume Up + Bixby + Power buttons, release Power + Bixby keys while you hold the amount Up key.

@@A.Hussain7492 I am not sure about android 12. I have since installed the Ambasadii ROM on both my s10 and s10e (g970F and g973f) which is pre-rooted, so there is no need for this tutorial. You simply do an OEM unlock and install recovery, then install the Ambasadii ROM.

A few months ago I had the same problem. Try to go to download mode and try again. If it doesn't work, try to go to Samsung official center and ask there, maybe they'll help you

I'm on android 11 on s10+ I messed up at the end and it bootlooped, so I held vol up bix & power, and it went to menu saying couldn't load android and gave option to factory reset, after I installed magisk it did a reboot and I got root. I've heard others saying softbrick and syart agian, but it seems there is no need. Anyway I'm thankful it worked. Thanks.

Hello. I followed this tutorial and it worked, up until I had to restart and then the root is gone, magisk manager shows that magisk is not installed. Booting with volume up/down+power(or + bixby) doesn't fix it. Do you know a solution? Thanks.

In my case, and according to nowadays Magisk Installation Instruction, I had to additionally select BL_**, CP_** and CSC_* .md5 files in the Odin, not just the patched AP_*, only then it worked.

I Cant really speak on that because this tutorial is designed for the S10, however if you are having troubles use odin and flash the firmware in download mode and you will be back to where you started.

Bro i have a problem, i have rooted my s10e 1 year ago, now i wanted to update it so i flashed the newest firmware, stareted Phone (everything was fine), ten did evrything like u, but i cannot boot in root mode, when i press volup+bixby+power every time my phone launches in recovery mode(where u do the factory reset). If i lauch it normally, i have no access to root. May it have sth to do with the new magisk version (8.03)? Or with the new android version? If so, downgrading is the same process like unbricking but with older files?

Hi Ben. Excellent video. I want to root my S10e but want to put Android 9 on it, since Android 10 prevents call recording, which is a feature I need. Following another video very similar to yours, I've tried patching using Magisk in an identical manner to the way you've described, with Android 9 firmware for the S10e. However, the process fails with the error "md5 error binary is invalid". I've tried the process with a (patched) Odin 3.13.1 as well as the latest version of Odin. Do you know why this would be? Can I only use the latest firmware to root? (Which would be pointless as call recording would still be disabled...!)

Unfortunately as you have updated your phone to Android 10 in the past the bootloader version has changed to an incompatible version hence the md5 error, this means you won't be able to root stock one ui 1.0 Android 9, sorry to inform you, your best shot would be to install an android 9 based custom rom if you wish to use call recording functionary.

Yes, no matter the custom rom the bootloader will always be returned original stock, as for where to find said custom ROMs I would look at the XDA developers S10 forum found here forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s10.

Unfortunately you have the Canadian Snapdragon model which has a locked bootloader, there is nothing you can do about it, it's just a Samsung thing.

Too complicated and too risky. It doesn't compensate, and besides the root in 2021 has hardly any advantages, rather complications, you lose the ota updates and functions as important as bank applications or Google Pay. It doesn't make up for that much risk and so much work.

1. Every guide on youtube for S10, S10+, S10e root for Exynos model are outdated. Requires combination keys and usb plugged to phone and PC after phone restart or shutdown to keep magisk active. 2. Snapdragon model for S10, S10+, S10e, out of luck using root without combination keys. 3. Google the guide s10 root without combination keys ramdisk. 4. Root without combination keys running latest Android 12 firmware, March security patch 2023. No need combination keys and usb plugged to phone and PC after phone restart or shutdown to keep magisk active.
