Hey man! Nice pants, got same color also. Also from NJ (north). Recently started climbing again and had questions. Are you a solo climber all the time? I used to not be solo but am now... If so, what insurance do you use? Looking into different insurance than what I got... Also is this your first mechanical? Looking into zig zag, akimbo, rope runner, etc and like that this one is mid line because I have a double eye spliced tachyon 11.5 and some devices have to be passed through. We should hang!!! 😅

Great video and nice system. What are you using for a knee ascender system. Also is that the ATC positioner you're using for the secondary?

Killer vid as usual my guy! got a question for you off topic. how do you feel about notch gear? a buddy of mine is selling his gear and im thinking long and hard. a lil nervous about buying used gear honestly... but i digress, he has a sentinal saddle and i was wondering if you had an opinion. its very light but it feels so basic lol.

Im new in this game. Why not use Two Notch foot ascenders ?? Because knee ascender's tooth are aggressive on ropes. But two Notch jet foot ascenders together would be almost no damages to the rope .
@chtclimbing2 жыл бұрын
That’s a great question. You kind of have to think about the cost and then justify your theory to modify the ascenders to allow you to create something that is practical. Have you tried climbing with two foots ascenders?

I am thinking of buying the Sequoia SRT. Why don't you use the SRT hitch in the center much anymore?
@chtclimbing3 жыл бұрын
The belay loops are great for many reasons and when you don’t climb as much you kind of forget, you know? So that’s the only reason other than that I would use them on just about every removal.
