is it possible to create this same effect of revolving stars with color fill change. Obviouslt it can't be done in this one since we have grouped the shapes, but can this effect be made? If so how?

That is quite not possible in PowerPoint because you can't hide or change color of one object in grouped object using effects.

You should watch my Yin Yang tutorial for that,. I used the Spin animation and you can easily rotate Yin Yang clockwise and anticlockwise.

If I will try to make that then first I will draw a full page white rectangle and then a rounded corner rectangle just like in the animation over the white rectangle and then I will use Subtract command from Merge Shapes so I may see the background area of the slide. Then I will draw 4 lines with high width and dash line style and will then apply motion paths to them. Hope that will help.
