Thank you for such a amazing video. I also shared with my other colleagues. I got feedback that some of don’t know how the rspec actually works and what is the meaning of ‘describe’ and ‘context’ and other keywords. When to use them? How to setup other stuffs and configure like capybara with puma or other technology like docker container. It will be more helpful if you provide in-detail video on RSpec for beginner. BTW, Thank you for this content.

That’s one thicc video. Thank you though. I just use Minitest because I like the convenience. And I’m a Spring Boot dev professionally so it’s not something I’ve had to worry about. But it’ll be nice to jump into this and learn RSpec and see what all the hype’s about.

What do you think of simpleCov or something to check you're testcoverage?
@typefastco Жыл бұрын
Simplecov is unnecessary imo

Neat ! TDD is what all junior developers should practice from day one. (Test Driven Development ) Rspec and Capybara are both Excellent for different types of tests. Remember eval is EVIL :)
