To be fair that 2013 coaching staff spent all summer scheming to take RG3 to the next level. He had so much success as a rookie the sky was the limit. I'm sure there were incentives to tank after he got hurt. Dan Snyder is awful and they had Bruce Allen the infamous Jon Gruden emailer. I will not hold a bad record against this coaching staff. Kyle turned Cousins into a winner. I think he could have done it sooner

Skipped over that year that Kyle Shanahan was offensive coordinator for the Browns with Mike McDaniel as the wide receivers coach in 2014. Though with the absolute lack of talent on that 2014 roster, I wouldn't spend much time talking about it either. Brian Hoyer and Manziel as the starters for 15 games that year and combining together for only 3,500 yards. Their leading receivers being Andrew Hawkins, Miles Austin, and Taylor Gabriel since a prime Josh Gordon was doing his usual and getting suspended for a majority of the season(played in 5 games). A lack of consistency with the running game as well, Ben Tate starting 6 games and only averaging 3.1 yards per carry. Terrance West starting 6 other games, also with a low yards per carry of 3.9 yards. Isaiah Crowell started the remaining 4 games and had 8 touchdowns, which is as many as West and Tate had on the season combined with their 12 starts, though it was more of a rotation with Crowell and West as the season went on.

The 49ers success in the 80's was due to how well the owner (Eddie Debartolo), the GM (John McVay) and HC Bill Walsh worked together. Shanahan went on to become a legendary coach, developing many other coaches like Sean McVay, who is the grandson of the 49ers GM.

Tom Coughlin, Bill Belichik, Romeo Crennel, Charlie Wies with Bill Parcells as the head coach. That was the greatest coaching staff ever. Not the WFT with one super bowl winner and two guys who either lost a SB or can’t get into one despite having the 1 seed and a HOF QB.

You are gonna have to help me out on this take…. “Greatest coaching staff” What has Lafluer and Shanahan accomplished?🤔🤔 O yea…. NOTHING!! In Shanahan’s case, much more than nothing!! A 28-3 historic choke job and MULTIPLE seasons with a team FULL of All-Pros…. Where would the 9ers be without John Lynch?!? 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫 I can’t even come up with anything on Lafleur….. GBs last ring is already got rust growing on it🤣🤣🤣 McVay is a fascinating case though…. Lost Von Miller and had a losing record after being dubbed a king🤔🤔 Even though the “Offensive Wizard” only put up 3 points in a super bowl🤣🤣🤣 Love your channel but you got to do better than this boys….

People talk all the time about how great a coach Mike Tomlin is but he's had zero people move on to become head coaches. It's really remarkable.
