I'd get "beauty pageants" for children if it was about making a cute and innocent costume together with their parents and then present a story, a play, a song, a wholesome dance with family etc and not for money but for the fun and a small prize for all participants. That would be almost like a school party. But this is a big no-no for me in every way imaginable and unimaginable. You could actually make money from it by turning it into a show without fake characters and without scripts. People like wholesome things. I’m imagining a fun event (pay to enter, probly a bit expensive) for younger kids each get their own dressing room with the same supplies in each room but there’s a lot of variety and they have to create an outfit (accompanied by a trusted adult that they’re close to). At the end everyone gets a certificate and maybe a small goody bag, maybe the certificate has a personal note attached written by the judges or close adult. The more memorable ones are rewarded with a prize but it’s illustrated clearly that it was a fun event and that everyone looked awesome.
