A hardcover book costs more than that amount. A ticket to a stupid sports event costs triple that amount. What's a movie cost nowadays? $30 doesn't seem expensive, to be fair.

@@TT-fq7pl I was only going to say hi to a few vendors. The books I’m after are too niche to be found at what was ultimately a small con. If I was a normie who just wanted another asm 300 I guess I would have gone but for what I’m after, actual rare books, price of entry was too much.
