The easy runs in your half programme would have been about adding to total weekly mileage volume

This guy just casually does a run faster than my PB and describes it as "pretty good", lol

Haha, thank you! Ngl, filming my training helps keep me consistent! I'd love you to stick around and follow my journey!

No way! everyone has to start somewhere! I remember when I went on my first ever run, I couldn't make it to 1km without feeling awful! Keep practicing and you WILL improve

Wouldn't you want to mix 3 easy run days in there to build up aerobic milage?
@mrdavester2 ай бұрын
Ok i spoke too soon... you mentioned it at the end. But the status quo is aerobic milage is king.

You are absolutely right, aerobic basing is always the main goal. This is just a test to see how I react to a different training stimulus. I appreciate the comment though :)

@thingsbrentdoes3801 I'm stuck at the 20 min 5k plateau and have been researching hard for the best method to get faster. Over and over it's.. run more. Aerobic milage and then more aerobic milage. I follow all the marathon and ultra runner channels as they run their distances at a faster pace than my 5k.. and then eat up a 5k in 16 mins that they didn't even train for lol.
