Herrick, not to be morbid, but I hope you instruct your family to leave your channel up forever. I’m in my mid-30s, and have young sons. I plan on showing them your channel when they get older. Your channel is a wealth of knowledge. I plan on searching through the videos, for the rest of my life, for tips and tricks. Hopefully my boys too. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experiences.

This is one of the nicest comments I've ever gotten. Thank you. There is another KZbin channel that I think is perfect for teaching your sons. It is one of my favorites and I learn something new from almost every episode. I've often thought that if my sons were still at home and homeschooling (that's what we did) I would assign episodes of ScoutCrafter for them to watch, or for us to watch together. The name is kind of misleading. Tools and shop how-to are the primary focus. Check it out if you have not already... www.youtube.com/@ScoutCrafter

I remember as a young lad helping my neighbor, an older farmer work on some machinery and he asked me to do all the looking up overhead work because he got nauseated when he did that type of work. I laughed and he said, "Don't laugh, you're going to get old one day too!" By golly, he was right! Sheet rocking ceilings, Crawling through tight spaces and working on my back...That is nauseating for me too.

Way to go, Herrick. And isn't it neat, the inventions God gives man for our benefit: the hangers and the laser!

I was really interested to see how the hanger work. Did you have to slide them all on the pipe first and connect them to the rod as you went? Or, do they come apart and you wrap them around the pipe back together and then fasten them to the threaded rod? I like the video but you left out the most important part to me.

@@rickfakhre2400 They come apart at the top. Easy to place around pipe. The “nut” that the treaded rod goes into holds the strap ends together. And it turns for adjustment.
