Just type on google "ccs texas instruments" and u will be directed to a page having a setup link... Just click on the link and it will download the setup... Once it is comppletely downloaded follow the steps to install the ccs

I got a code for a soldering station DIY. The code was written in IAR Emmbeded Workbench for MSp430 IDE, Now I open the code in Code Composer, It is giving me a lot of errors. It can't be too much error because I know a bit of C++ programming. it is marking me a lot of code when I compile. There is supposed the code was programmed in Version 18 of IAR Imbedded Workbench. But I can't find what version of C++ or standard install or set up to compile in Code Composer.? Any Help?

" MSP430: Error initializing emulator: No USB FET was found " im getting this error constantly while im trying to debug. my board is connected to the computer and it is showing in device manager still im getting this error. Any solution??

Go to target configurations and add your controller and then save it....it will resolve the error

Or try to change the cable. Apparently, I was not using the original cable. Once I swapped it for the one that came in the box, the issue was fixed.

yes.. go to view in CCs and search for terminal....and there you can select serial and other settings like baud rate, etc...

Thanks for the tutorial sir I have a doubt while building programs in my developer kit While I use if loops inside a interrupt module I get a error stating Error #18: expected a ")" in that line but my logic and code is correct but not working in the ccs can you tell me how to Bypass this error ? Make sure to close all the loops with brackets

Sir what is soft reset and hard reset

In general soft reset is restarting the device without deleting the secondary memory whereas hard reset deletes the data in secondary memory also..
