Nice Video! I would also recommend prepotting normal food, Regeneration Potion and gemstonedust. In a 15-20 min Run i Pop gemstonedust before every difficult Pack of Mobs or in Bossfights. For me it helps a Lot in Mutation.

Gems contribute to fortify cap, so you actually need closer to 30% nature resist here if your healer is using orb of protection + fortified sacred ground perk. 2 more onyxes could go a long way to reducing damage from mobs

is it always the case that bosses in mutations especially are dealing only elemental damage based on the current mutations - and without mutations theyre doing physical hits? (besides some elemental aoe stuff ofc)

I just use a spear with fortifying perferate and zero ward. Doing m9 Gen on fresh start servers right now (I would be doing m10 but not at 625 yet) I'm running 100 con however. 60 and then food buff. Simply because I don't want to use umbral on gear that isn't that great with just angry earth ward. My spear basic attacks are hitting for over 4.1k consistently with just a strong angry earth coating and common honing stone and 3 basic trophies. I'm just using umbral to get my tempestuous gear to 625 as it's the most common mutation. And the extra umbral I have after 625 are going into my PvP gear for now. Once I get my PvP gear in good standing I plan to get ancient gear up to 625 next. Gen is just so easy you honestly don't need ward for it if you know how to and have a good healer.

Very solid guide. Try refreshing torrent on your hatchet. The ability is a huge DPS increase and the perk reduces your CD's to nothing if you hit multiple targets, letting you spam torrents non-stop.

if your goal is to run M10 in gold because of the shards, take 100 to 150 con to make it safe and much easier to play. if your goal is to run M10 as fast as possible, you have to do it without con. either way, you need ward, bane and another dmg perk like vicious or rogue and the right gems. epic gear and weapons are totally fine.

A lot of the changes to Fortify now make 5 CON inadvisable except for speed runs. That said, Medium 5 CON actually can work in virtually in any dungeon, since it can benefit immensely from the new Fortify. It's not much less damage than Light. People keep making the false claim that it's 10% more damage multiplicatively, but it's additive on top of crit damage and all of your base damage. In the end, it's closer to 5% less damage.

Im still running regular to get my expertise to 600. What do you do if you cant find gear with all the perks in TP? Best i could find is have angry earth ward in each gear. Will that be enough for now?

Absolutely. You can run all the way up to m10 in that. I bought the cheapest / worthless perk set off the AH, just looked for main stat and Warding. It's like playing a different game. Then you just upgrade those pieces as you progress and you'll eventually find upgrades / make money selling upgrades to other people.

u can get a full purple set for about 10k ( on barri ) light ward + refreshing/refreshing evasion for 2k a piece , thats all u need really

Still don't get it. Greenskeeper hits you 5566 at 0:05 and you have 786 phy def. I have about 1800 phy def with phy wards and snake hit me with this attack about 8-9k. How you explain this?

Well thats one of the most helpful vids/guides made so far about this. Still happy on medium though cause I dont have a constant team. But so far in M8/M9 muts hitting like a truck loads of 21-35k dmg on bosses...literally soloing caretaker. I m relying on pots though...so far on Laz I got the second highest dmg ever done after the insane 51k by a guy on US east, I m at 47k dmg. Still on medium. So the only thing missing from the equation is light mode setup right? 300STR/50 DEX/50INT/100 CON.

@@Millsboro I tried that last night but I couldnt survive. I cannot go on that intense mode without proper constant team. And thats Genesis, the easy one. But for public runs I m good enough. Actually went down to light gear and increased overall damage 12.5%. Caretaker got soloed with greatsword on M9 4/5 ward plus leeching crosscut plus refreshing torrent. (Using Edenil atm) Still running the same setup 310 STR / 50 DEX / 50 INT / 100 CON

What is better, low con that makes you have to dip out when you are low or 100con that allows you to stay in the fight longer. We are talking about 12% DPS max difference. Dipping out a couple of times more during a boss fight equalizes the damage. These 5 con videos are doing more harm than good for GF mutators.

It's new world you can dodge everything as dps. People just left click all the time and never care about mechanic and die and don't know why they die.... They are not even care if some mob chase the healer. Just do some damage to the mob and bring to me would help a lot and if I jump to that mob I lose aggo and it is chaos every time on m10 like in SS this week. One Healer say she is annoyed and always block all that dps.

I have 5k hours and do agree ward helps and buffs for me with milj of umbrall it dont really care about spending but for new players the answer is easy you don´t need dmg midgations if you know how to avoid dmg tanks is one of the the classes in even m10 that don´t need ward they have block and they can eat some of the dmg and reg stam on bosses so they never run out. now am on a new start serv and grinding again i hit 625 in 2-3 weeks and am even now when i have for another set i rathewr spend umbrall and orbs on wep and hearth runes then gear and i don´t reall yanderstand why this bs light meta is still a thing when its more a hit and run noob solo build for pvp opr open world not really entented for m5-m10 with new player becuse thats what we have in nw most people are new ore returning players and if we talk about gold and for example laz 30 min you can do it np wit hmedium heavy builds with no ward so why relay on ward and light so much the timer is not a problem not even in starstone 35 min whne they buff it and ytou have enrage timers and shorther time i would agree with you but atm the dps you lose becuse people die is higher then you gain.

Gambit(opal on wep) is less useful than diamond if you are 5con melee. Watching this gameplay your stam is full more than 50% of the time, but your health is almost always full. Beyond that some bosses can be armored in which case a elemental gem would be more useful than a diamond. Just my thoughts on wep gems but maybe im missing something. Good guide bro! Weaken on spear is so clutch.

the reason why people don't run ward and conditioning perks is because they are only viable for certain mutations and then next week you need to re upgrade a new set to 625. But for a no con build I guess you do need at least ward + gems ofcourse.

You only need four ward sets: Ancient, Angry Earth, Corrupted, and Lost. Upgrade each set during the week that you are using it. They only need to be purple 2-perk pieces with full coverage for your weapon perks. Swap out the gems once a week and you're good to go.

And then I use all the shards on my PvP set instead and just get used to not play with ward lol. Thats how it's been for me at least.

I mean, it's cool when people do their job right, but it's a low percentage of the player database, not taking any chances with 5 con dps on my runs, I see one, I kick them out, not about to get 2500 pts deducted (500x5 if u have multiplier) from my mutated runs each time they rise their floor expertise
