You don’t need to tap, just keep holding the press button then flick left side to where you wish to kick the ball. Soft flick may execute double touch or Marseille turn etc. So flick harder.

Quick counter is the best but you have to choose a good formation for that.. For example 4222 is one of the best I've ever used. Allison Pavard- Ruben Dias- De Ligt - Lucas Harnandez Casemiro - Fabinho Messi - Neymar Mbappe - Rashford You have to use defensive full backs not offensive and use 2 Anchor Man to make your defense more solid then as subs you can any players that you think is good.. If the pressing defender is close enough then you need to hold the ball by performing 'Ball sheild'. Then turn around & perform 'Sharp touch'.

The thing is, speed means nothing in this absolute garbage of a game. I got POTW Mbappe wuth 95 speed and accel running on the left wing and the opponent's Ruben Dias just scoots up behind him with 70 speed and pushes him off the ball. Mbappe stumbles, and the opponent takes the ball. Hilarious
