After getting back into running in jan. 2016 I knew I was gonna have to rebuild my mileage. Fast forward now I didn't think I would still be stuck at barely running 3 miles and also experiencing pain. Then I come on to watch this video and realize what I've been doing wrong... I see your point but unfortunately your runner doest land under his hips att all, quite in front actually. You probably saw it as well and didn't stop the frame at the right time on purpose.

you are right when you look at the point of contact. however, the point at which the foot is carrying the load, its more under hips

I was doing the opposite because I thought I needed good posture while running. Now my hip flexor hurts like hell. I was limping for a week. I'm taking an extra week off running to recover.
