Biggest discipline is learning when and when not to use the Sprint.

100% it's one of the biggest mistakes people make running the ball.

@HuddleGG but you have to understand the flow of the blocking to know when to hit the sprint. It helps to understand the scheme you are running. Strech, zone, cutback etc. Have to pay attention the lineman and dont force the issue. Little practice helps.

@lockstarkingding a good way to practice?Vs CPU All Madden In play Now and if you H2H online. So, when running ANY running play, USE the joytick to and follow your lead block. Stretch/Zone, look for backside cut, other running formations, follow the center/gaurd or fullback. Once you reach the 2nd level, let it loose and use your R2 to try and reach the sideline while keeping your finger on L2 for quick cuts to juke the 2nd level defenders.

My very first play in my franchise mode on Madden 24 was a 98yd kick return td by Marcus Jones and by not sprinting until the last 10 yards helped me out a lot

Dont outrun your help. Linemen are no good if you are in front of them. Plus when you sprint the cpu sprints.

Well when people let the CPU do all the tackling for them it makes it really hard to run the ball cuz cpu don't miss tackles

tip 1 - I noticed that I had to quit sprinting because I kept outrunning my own blockers lol then noticed how much easier it was to maneuver so I realized I can't sprint until I've cleared the LOS or don't need to make a cut/juke (I left off on sprint at that point)

This works. But when you lower the difficulty skill sliders the running game becomes more difficult because of the block sheds. The game default slider are on 50. When you move the difficulty sliders down below 50 the game becomes more difficult to play. If you want more success in every aspect of the game. Move the user difficulty skill sliders up above 50. If you want more of a challenge and more simulation style of gameplay. Move the sliders down below 50. The game plays much better and closer to simulation style when you move the skill sliders down below 50. This is why every year online gameplay is bad. It's all on the difficulty skill sliders.

At 3:02, the play youre breaking down. I find this impossible to do when your center gets blown up for 1 reason like inside stuff of some bs that helps the defender. The OLine literally shows less effort of all the groupings. No way in heck should dime be stopping multiple 2 TE 3 TE sets just cause base align "tricks"

These are good tips but running on all madden is literally impossible I can average like 9 yds a carry on all pro but all madden I get like 2
