Brilliant tutorial, I've been playing 2-3 zone for a while now but I'll tend to switch it up depending on my opponent. If they get a few threes in a row, I'll switch to a man to man and sometimes a half court trap. I really wish you could tell your wings to stop collapsing, really frustrating when the SF/PF just decide to leave their man to help get a rebound when no help whatsoever is needed! I've tried changing the team strategy but only offball works

@@CJE24 I don't think there is, the best thing to do i've found is keep your eye on the two weak side players (IE if its on the right (PG/SF) then watch for the SG/PF leaving their assignment).

As a comp head.. swing freelance beats this zone with 5 shooters. 3 shooters at the top of the key. One on the left or right block & one in the corner

but most teams don't have a reliable shooting center and most have slow releases. better to run 2-3 zone freelance, give the center the ball who stands at the top of the key (start backing down the center, post playmaker badge helps and alot of bigs have it and kick it out) and is surrounded by 4 shooters. 2 on the wing and 2 in the corners.

But how do you make your cpu not let players wide open on corner 3s? You have to just switch quicker to defender that defends corner or is any other way?

Unfortunately a good player will demolish this defense. The players he’s playing aren’t good at all and have no idea how to collapse the coners. It’s not the his defense is bad, it more so an error in the coding of the game as you literally can put everything on no help and the ai defenders will still come help. 2k is very keen to deliver a product that caters to the casual players who want to score score score and have no idea of true offensive principles
