I have this same model hard plumbed and it’s supposed to drain under the cabinet into a pea trap with vent holes. Mine hasn’t drained since installation. We are the first in town to have this model installed so we keep coming to dead ends. When we detach the flex tubing from the pea trap, it drains fine into a bucket. So, function FROM the coffee maker is fine. Have you had any similar issues? Suggestions?

I am interested in this model specifically because it can be connected to a drain. In this cleaning cycle, it is constantly telling you to empty the drip tray, even though you mentioned the drain at the beginning of the clip. Why is it not draining during cleaning? The whole point of this unit for me is the drain function. Another commenter above says that hers does not drain despite being connected to a drain. How to solve? Thanks.

I have the same machine. I also fabricate custom stainless steel products. The only comment I have is when cleaning stainless steel appliances, always clean with the grain. In the video, it showed cleaning against the grain, which will sometimes produces visible scratches
