What do you teach the quarterback for his dropback? Do you teach it as a one-step quick game, 3-step timing, or something else?

I let them adjust it based on what they think it can be. The 2 options I give are a quick 3 step (not working for any depth, but 3 quick steps). This differs from the 1 big, 2 little mindset. It's 3 very quick steps that put them in the position to get it out very quick. Or they use essentially a 1 step. Brady used it a ton for his quick/intermediate game. Times up well with the stick but also allows you to get a yard of depth in case you need to get to the dig.
