You have to copy every program you need out there it is like Windows PE (Preinstalled Environment)

I used AOMEI wintousb and it took my w7 pro iso and installed w7 home basic. Does not have features I want and will not let me install updates. Do I need a different wintousb tool? And how to get it to be uefi?

Version 8 doesn't allow to install windows 7 Pro nor would it allow to install the Home edition on a 16Gb drive. Insufficient space error . Kinda crap, trying to force you to buy the pro edition. I would not recommend.
