I'm just joking how this isn't a Wr race, it didn't really matter much I think many will wonder why I didn't destroy the spiders' nest at the beginning. And it wasn't because I forgot, I just left it because I wanted the spiders to be reborn to see if I could drop their gland, it wasn't really necessary, as I had calculated my healing very well on my route, but something extra was always there. it is good. When thinking about the cure in this race I thought about just making 10 honey poultice + tent, but in addition to the RNG problem of needing to find many biomes and the time that this would cost me, I decided to opt for the bat bat, so I also thought about methods to optimize this, My inventory was usually very full after the Shadow pieces and as I would need at least 5 free slots, I decided to get everything in the ruins. In the mosaic I decided to find the cemetery instead of breaking rocks, because there is always extra gold there, and the fact that I would need to destroy fewer pig houses, which had a chance of killing the shadow pieces. , spending more on my pan flute, and the worst thing that happened a few times, there weren't enough pig houses. I also opt for several science machines, due to the large number of items I needed to have, so it helped me optimize my inventory. I decided to get more gold in Pk, as I had lost count of how many I needed, which would only be 8, but I took it to be safe, as it had already happened more than once that I forgot 1 gold for a gold pickaxe. Initially I thought about doing just 3 bramble husk for the entire race, but after some tests I decided that I should guarantee the fight in the worst case scenario in relation to Fw, due to the rng of the shadow creatures, which made me decide to do 4 bramble husk in the entire race. I decided to use bulbs for the beefalo, because besides being easy, I always forgot to pick flowers, and as I would use bulbs throughout the race, it would combine the useful with the pleasant. The first part that stressed me out in the race was the fact that in the interval between the bishop and the rook I chose to craft and organize myself, I believe this made me lose more time than I gained, I also wanted to take my backpack to the race area right away. combat, so I no longer need to go back to the shadow piece statues, but I end up not getting my backpack, and in addition I take damage that I shouldn't take, also causing poor performance in the fight and a waste of time. It wasn't a huge waste of time watching the race again, but when these things happen it feels like I'm playing in slow motion. And also every time in a speedrun matters, even Wr is not the objective. Another thing was the amount of pauses, I'm not someone who usually pauses a lot in speedruns, but I hadn't played for a while, because I'm very busy with university, which made me pause to check items and other minor details. Also because I'm tired of the routine I get confused in small things, like wanting to build a ham bat on the bishop's statue lol. Rewatching the race I realized that there weren't a lot of pauses, but there were pauses that I spent a lot of time, it doesn't really matter because I wasn't wasting time, it was just a point that I found interesting to mention. I also intended to make this video using the Epic Health bar for your best experience, but I simply forgot to add it, and I only realized it when I fought the shadow pieces lol, normally this mod gives you an advantage in Fw, because of the phase changes, which is an important fact, but as I knew how much % my weapon should be for the phase change, this wasn't a problem. The idea of this race was never to go on the speedrun.com tables, so the mods didn't really matter. In the battle against Shadow pieces I took unnecessary damage at the beginning, as I got them too early my bloom wouldn't be complete yet, so I had to take them to a road and I also chose to kill the Knight with the beefalo, as this way I saved my life However, the 4th is a very good day for shadow pieces, as you are not a wolfgang or walter, against the level 3 bishop I made a mistake at the beginning, which consequently meant that I took extra damage, as the standard would be that it only gives me 2 hits, however then correct myself, so in the end everything worked out even though I didn't consider it a good battle. Even though I wasted uses of the pan flute I was lucky with the Fossil RNG not even needing to use it completely, I thought about taking it to the ruins, but it would be a luxury that I didn't need, so later on I'll drop it. and I also use the spider houses to collect the webs I would need. I was lucky that the bats were right next to the fossils, but I had a bit of bad luck with their wings dropping, I thought about destroying the tentacle that was in that biome, but there were so many monsters, that I thought it wouldn't be worth it, it was a risk for a risk, and betting on a tentacle for the atrium is something I preferred not to risk in that situation, and it wasn't intentional to hit that tentacle lmao, it was the damn game that preferred him over the bats. Splumonkey really humbled me in this incredible 3s duel, those 2 minutes in a row were just strange events lmao, watching the race as I write this gave me a sincere laugh. Arriving at the ruins, my main objective would be to find a green gem, to make my bat bat and be able to proceed to the ancient guardian, as the best way to farm living logs would be through it, if I had found the complete pseudoscience it would be ideal, as there already I would have my two purple gems with the bishops and I wouldn't need to spend 6 Thulecites to fix the season. When I arrived at pseudoscience, it took me a long time to kill the clockworks there due to the fact that I didn't want to hit my beefalo and this cute guy kept following me, and as he had dropped my pan flute I would have to run away from him, and I didn't intend to abandon him. , because I still needed to find the Atrium and his speed would be valuable. Also at that moment I remember that I dropped my Night armor, which I would use to take the minimum amount of damage against the bishops, but in the end everything worked out fine. In Ancient Guardian everything was ok, I had no problems, he even gave me a great drop even though I had some hesitation with him in the future, which made me waste time and was the part that stressed me the most, because even though I completed the race in good time, It was after that that my decisions got worse and I simply made small mistakes, which made me take more damage and need to mine more thulecites, causing me to waste time. The main drop I wanted was a thulecite club, thulecite crown and more than 10 thulecites, as it would save me a lot of time and save resources, I didn't care about the lazy explorer, as I had trained the fight to use it without it, I even created a method for that, but at the very end he came and made me get confused in battle lol, but it's ok. After making a small mistake in crafting the pseudoscience items, the next mistake I made was dropping my constructor amulet, which with it I would be able to make extra bramble husk, which I didn't really need, it would just be a whim in fact, after that how it was my first run of the day, I thought I just opened obs and wasn't filming lol. When I arrived at Fw I was so distracted that I even wasted time with my hand trying to put out my fire. This fight is where my biggest indignation is, because I created a way to kill Fw without lazy explorer, and I had trained it without using it before running, but there was something that changed that, which was my lazy explorer, what I did constantly think about whether use it or not, I believe you were able to notice this in the battle, which made me miss most of the fight, making me need to heal by hitting the Fw, something I did when I killed the hands, as well as killing the hands earlier which caused the wovens to be born later, disrupting the entire cooldown of the fight making him heal about 3 times. Also in the 3rd cycle I could use my bat bat to heal myself with the Wovens, but because I was distracted I just ignored it. Of course, these small errors would not compromise my fight, because the moment I got the lazy explorer I already knew I would complete it, as fighting with him is practically a guaranteed victory, but the bad The performance I had in the fight, because I kept deciding whether to use it or not, made the fight worse and a little ugly, in other words. However, in the end we completed the final objective which was to make a Fw rush in less than 10 days with Wormwood, despite the difficulties I believe I am being very capricious, but I just wanted to highlight small frustrations that I had.
