Wanted to let you know we finally got our 11’ ramps and set up the boards just as you described and it worked great! Was and felt extremely safe loading and unloading golf cart. The ramps are expensive but i definitely think worth it. They don’t even move. Ty

When we purchased our cart, the guy helped me strap it down to our trailer. He added a strap from wheel over the canopy. Seems like it would help with the upwind

Hey man got a quick question, what do you do with your tailgate? just wondering if you bring it with you when going camping or not and where you put it if you did bring it.

I put it inside the camper on the queen bed. Seems to ride good. No problems yet 🤞🏻

Do you have any pics of the front strap setup. The one that is holding the boards in place

I don’t. It’s about 4-6in down the board and about 2-3in in from the outside

How long is that golf cart and how did it do with the floorboard on the rear ?
@almostoutdoors8 ай бұрын
Can’t remember the length but always does great with the wood supports on the bumper. I just measured from the front of the truck bed to the bumper, then measured the golf cart from how the tire sticks out in the front to center of rear tire. Works great

Going to pick up our first golf cart in the morning... How exactly did you bungee cord the windshield? Also, do I need to run at least one strap over the roof? Or no?
@almostoutdoors3 жыл бұрын
I actually take the windshield off now. No straps on the roof. Just make sure the bolts are secure then u should be good. I’ve had it up to 80mph and it’s fine.

We have the same truck and really like the setup as I am in the market for a golf cart to haul while towing a my TT. Can you please expand more on the orange straps at the front of the bed and how you secured them to the boards? Thanks!
@almostoutdoors3 жыл бұрын
Once u make ur boards to the length of the bed just drill a hole about 2in from the edge of the board and feed the strap hook through it. Then hook one end to the top D ring and the other to the bottom and tighten down slightly. This way the won’t slide at all

Did you have any sagging once you raised the tongue jack with your 3/4 ton? I am going to be trying a similar set up with my F250 and am wondering if I will need some additional support? Also - looking at the same ramps, would 8’ers work too, in your opinion? My cart is NOT lifted like yours...
