I bought a 220 today and caught my thumb, thought I’d broke it. This guy is not Kidding. They’re for real

I like the using the hand tongs to set the springs, a nice set can be purchased for less than $20. Just don’t order them too short, the longer the easier to use.

Why in the HAY-ELL would you have a protocol for using your hand to set off the trap????? How about a stick? Then you don't have to remember "thumb in hand down" you just remember: use stick; keep fingers.

a giant pair of "plier-like" spreaders - he said buy the longer ones not the short ones for better leverage squeezing the springs together. (see thewildnorth @andrew p stanley he has Trapping lessons in most of his videos

How do you remove the latches on the springs so easily at the end? On mine, the tension on the spring is so tight I can't even move that latch let alone remove it.
@alexandergoldnatznworeptil96527 ай бұрын
Try to move the latch towards the coil it should loosen it self. But be slow and careful and dont have your fingers near the frame.

My dog is upside down. It would come from underneath if I was to set it. Am I doing something wrong??

picture from camera was blurry in places or either water was on lens. Hard to see the pins and small details on the trap itself, but otherwise good explanation. Frank would be proud of you or maybe he was the one who told you to make a video?
