Thanks for sharing Nick, good to see you back again. You're one of the few people I see that clean the wheel barrels last, something I do myself too 👍

Thanks Ally 👍🏼 I’ve never understood why people clean the barrels first as it drags the dirt out on to the face of the wheel!

I like the look of the Polar seal, is it better than Protector wax do you think?
@HarpersCarDetailing4 ай бұрын
It’s pretty much identical IMO. It’s Autoglym Coat It that I’m using, but I think that’s pretty much the same as Polar Seal 👍🏼
@kristerisaksson82175 ай бұрын
Nice result. Polar Seal vs Protector wax, what's your opinion?
@HarpersCarDetailing5 ай бұрын
Thank you 👍🏼 Pretty much identical. Polar seal is more economical for me as I can buy is in 5 litres 👍🏼

Nice to see an upload again, Nick. How are you finding Touchless V2 vs your old favourite Autofoam? Have you stopped using citrus nowadays? I notice no KKD products anymore, what led you to that, or are the IW equivalents just better? I've been reading many people have been unable to get hold of their stuff for a long while now, like citrus magic, wonder why! I washed one of our cars yesterady but the sun was a problem, I haven't mastered washing in the sun yet, the water just dries out way too quickly or I can't work fast enough! :) Hope to see more videos.
@HarpersCarDetailing4 ай бұрын
Thanks! It’s very good. It’s cleans very well as is economical. KKD have been tricky to get hold of and prices have gone up quite a lot. I’m going to do a video on a rinse less wash type of product as some point which is great for summer washes 👌🏼
@AM4N184 ай бұрын
@@HarpersCarDetailing Oh a rinseless video would be great! So give your tips on how best to do it, I bought a bottle but hesitant about using it so far in case I end up scratching the paint. I'll wait for your video to drop before trying 👍

Hi Nick,when you used the polar seal and stuck to the recommended 40ml product how much water did you mix with it,I have this and never know how much to mix,I know it say’s minimum 200ml of water but does more water dilute the product,thanks Colin.
@HarpersCarDetailing4 ай бұрын
I haven’t looked at the dilution at all. I use about 30-40ml and top up the litre bottle with water

@@HarpersCarDetailing thanks for the info! at what dilution ratio do you use it at for maintenance washes?

Actually cleaning a dirty car (many channels clean already clean cars), outside, on a warm sunny day. And to top it off, the car is the worst colour ie black. This is probably the hardest clean, so fair play to you. Can I ask, why are you only wearing one glove ? Bo' Selekta' fan maybe, Sha'mone MoFo and all that lol ?
@HarpersCarDetailing5 ай бұрын
Thanks man! I’m honestly not too sure. I might have split the other glove and not replaced. There’s no secret to only wearing one glove if that’s that you are thinking 😂

What’s the rinse bucket for after two prewashes?
@HarpersCarDetailing5 ай бұрын
There will always still be a little dirt left behind on the paintwork. To minimise the risk of marring the paint, I always keep the wash mitt as clean as possible with the second rinse bucket
