I just need to know if this can be done strictly using the MPC studio software with my MPC X not connected? Sometimes I like to work without even using my MPC X and I'm able to STILL DO everything I need to do. There's got to be a way to sample audio from KZbin using the MPC software without even firing up my beast! If you or someone who reads this knows how please let me know. I can hear my project in MPC Studio just fine while hearing you with this tutorial but I'm not sure how to pick up the KZbin audio. I tried all types of different inputs and it doesn't seem to pick it up when I do the test. Please help and thanks!

What’s the MPC studio software? I’m confused on that. I am aware of the MPC software, MPC beats software and MPC essentials. However if your on a Mac it’s simple. All you need is Sound flower or I show u. These tools are used as an internal soundcard If you have a soundcard such as an interface routing your audio into the software is as simple as getting a Y cable to route the sounds back into the software a sample it in. Make sure the monitor button in mpc software is on and the levels are picking up. Then hit sample record. That’s it. Hope this helps out. I think I explained it in the video. Thanks for tuning in. @@BkBangatv The software that I use with my MPC X. I've heard many call it "MPC STUDIO" .. MPC 2.8 is the update I'm on right now lol I hate just calling it MPC though cuz then people think I'm talking about the hardware itself :P

@@BkBangatv I use a Scarlett Focusrite 2i2 for my audio interface that's with my PC. I do have a Y cable but I'm trying to do this without my MPC X even being turned on.. let alone connected to my PC. That's what I was wondering about? Like you were saying in your video.. I never even really bothered with the MPC software until literally a few days ago.. I was a standalone junky lol I'm still learning about it but I'm a fairly quick learner with it just cuz I been using DAWs for 20 years now :D

If yr not using a screen capturing software and just a interface does the output need to be set to mpc live as well? Also if your using the RCA to headphone adapter? The red and white plugs go into the mpc live where does the other two go?

C D you can use the RCA to headphone jack as well. If you don’t have a screen capturing software your still good. You only need that if you plan on doing uploading and screen capturing. Thanks for tuning in. Peace

Where do you plug the chords in to your Mac/PC/Laptop ...and do you need any special connector for the RCA cables to do that?

thanks for tuning in. the chords are plugged into an interface or soundcard. tbh you can use a digital sound card such as soundflower or loopback, this cuts out having to use chords. you need an rca to 1/3 headphones jack I am not certain if I showed it in this video as this was 6 months ago. but I did a recent video showing ho to sample from your phone here kzbin.info/www/bejne/noKvpmyrjbKisK8 but again if your on a mac you can use soundflower or loopback on both mac and pc. also Ishowu audio connector as well. Hello, I can only watch the video tomorrow,but i have a question beforehand. I only have a MPC MPK Mini MK3 and windows laptop. I want to sample a track from a YT video. Can I do it? Just recording the audio directly from chrome itself? I also tried to use the laptops mic to shitty results.

You can. Pending on your setup and which mpc. All you need is a cable that route the audio each way. And the best results are with an audio interface connected or a mixer. Hopefully that helps. I think I mentioned the cables need in this video but I can’t recall. Thanks for tuning in

Neo Simmons 22 I showed this workflow in controller mode actually. This issue was also supposed to be updated in the new 2.6. You need to change the input to your mpc live or mpc x if you have it. And run your rca cables through your interface.

Bk Banga I will try today but I remember weeks ago pulling my hair out like wtf for 4 hrs and I briefly tried again ........ recently for an hr but I had input my foursite.... and then tried soundflower... didn’t work I will now change input to MPC ..... and try in controller mode thx ..
