Thank you for this video - it's handy as a refresher and/or in conjunction with the written instructions you provide. As a suggestion...it might be helpful for some people, if this video was renamed to indicate that this is the same process as used for descaling, with the only difference being that citric acid is used instead of Milton tablets. :)

The flushing sequence is only working for me when I take the sediment filter out. If the sediment filter remains in then I cannot draw any water. Any idea?

If i put back the sendiment filter for me the water not coming out with the empty filters never and i dont understand why. So i used to remove it to flesh out the milton. But why

My water doesnt smell like bleach anymore which is great! But I am getting a plastic aftertaste. Is that normal with this mahine?

It's not plastic but it is stronger tasting when you have a new post filter for the first few days

Unfortunately I'm having problems with Osmio. I changed the filters ok and it was working fine. However, my daughter thought she could taste the Milton. So I repeated the last bit of process again with empty filters. Then replaced the new filters I had just used. Now it keeps asking me to replace water. I do that, and still comes up with same message. So I took the filters out and put them back. I did notice excessive water pour out as I took the membrane filter out. Cleaned up but unfortunately still same message asking to replace water. I'm considering processing again with empty filters one more time. Would that be the correct thing to do to help resolve the problem?

Sounds like a blockage in the solenoid valve, that would explain the back pressure when you take the membrane off. The only solution is descaling it a few times and seeing if that works, use citric acid instead of milton, and if that doesn't work, then it needs to come back for repair and the solenoid valve replaced. To avoid this in the future, do a regular descale every month or two depending on hardness. Thanks for your reply. What quantity citrus acid should I use? The packet I've bought sounds like crystal granules. If this doesn't work I'll get in touch with support as you suggest.

Hi Osmio, I saw in another video about this machine that you were working on a second version of this which would be even better. Is that still happening and if so what is the time scale? I am looking at getting of these but i would hate to buy this and then weeks later the new version comes out and i am sat there wishing i had waited? If/when the 2nd version comes out would the price be about the same?

Just done this and during the flushing part, it just stops dispensing water, even though I just filled the pitcher and it finished filtering. Gutted as we have had this since 2020 and rely on it for our drinking water.

You have to wait for it to fill up during flushing, it takes about 15 minutes to refill the internal 1.5 litre tank

@@OsmioWaterH2O Thanks for responding. I did wait for it to finish, I've done this quite a few times as I've had it for a couple of years now. I actually resolved it in the end by turning the power off, waiting a few seconds and turning it on again. Is there a newer model coming out anytime soon? 😊
