I'm sorry Greta but to only have a relationship is to small of a goal. He can break up any minute or just use that relationship to get the sugar he craves. There are relatinships where he will stay for 8 months or even more than one and a half year just to get the damn sugar for a night or a few.

He might be triangulating you to manipulate your emotions to act insecure, anxious, incite anger or jealousy. He may be pitting the two of you together to instigate a fight over him to feed his ego. If so he cares about power and Ctrl not you. He may be overly invested with her and using you as a placeholder or back up. If you don’t feel like a priority or feel respected discuss it with him. If his behaviour continues he is disrespecting you by not caring about you or your feelings. You teach people how to treat you by what you will or will not tolerate. What are your boundaries? What are your dealbreakers?
